diana armfield (b.1920)

Armfield studied at the Slade School of Fine Arts and Central School of Arts and Crafts.

She was elected a full Member of the Royal Academy in 1991. She is also a Member of the Royal Watercolour Society, the New English Art Club, the Royal West of England Academy, the Royal Cambrian Society (Hon Retired) and an Honorary Member of the Pastel Society.

Armfield lives in London and Wales where she has exhibited extensively, predominantly with Browse & Darby.

Armfield is married to the artist Bernard Dunstan, they have exhibited together, in their work we see references to Sickert.
